The Academy award nominations for best animated feature have been announced. Even though I’m super bummed out that Trolls World Tour got snubbed (the funk trolls had a MOTHERSHIP for God’s sake!), it was nice to see that Ireland’s Cartoon Saloon got tapped for their latest feature Wolfwalkers, now showing on Apple+. If you’ve never seen one of their films, I recommend The Secrect of Kells for St. Patrick’s Day because, well, it’s a little more green. If you’ve got kids, the subject matter (illuminated manuscripts) may be a little dry for today’s youth. But every shot is eye candy. Erin go braugh!
